Website & consultation terms

Terms and Conditions

For use of our website, resources, and introductory consultation booking service.

Effective October 15, 2026

1. About these terms

This website is operated by McClintock Group, Inc., which presents its services as The McClintock Group. In these terms, “we,” “our,” and “the firm” refer to that legal entity.

These terms apply to tmgtech.com, its public resources and tools, access to private decision rooms, and introductory consultations booked with the firm. Please review these terms before using those services. A link to this page is not a substitute for express agreement where the law requires it. A separate written engagement agreement or confidentiality agreement takes precedence for the matters it covers.

2. Information and tools

Website content, examples, simulations, assessments, planning tools, and downloadable briefs provide general information and help structure a discussion. They are not a project-specific recommendation, completed assessment, offer, or commitment to deliver services.

Illustrative scenarios are identified as examples. Case studies describe particular engagements with their stated qualifications; they do not promise the same results in another setting. Optional AI-generated responses may be incomplete or incorrect. Verify outputs and obtain appropriate professional review before using them to make decisions or change business systems.

3. Engagements and authorization

An inquiry, booking, introductory conversation, or use of a website tool does not create a client engagement or authorize paid work. Scope, responsibilities, fees, deliverables, and other commercial terms must be agreed separately in writing before an engagement begins.

Access to a private decision room does not by itself authorize an engagement or approve a deliverable. The applicable written agreement and any expressly agreed approval process govern those decisions.

4. Consultation bookings

The introductory consultation is a 30-minute discussion on Microsoft Teams about your objective, constraints, and whether the firm can help. No presentation or preparation is required. Booking a time does not commit either party to a subsequent engagement. An introductory conversation is exploratory and is not a completed assessment of your systems or a substitute for an agreed advisory engagement.

Use accurate contact details and check the date, time zone, and meeting link in your Microsoft Bookings confirmation. A website inquiry is not an appointment confirmation.

To reschedule or cancel, use the controls in your confirmation. Online changes require at least 24 hours’ notice. If those controls are unavailable or you need a later change, contact info@tmgtech.com. If we need to change an appointment, we will contact you using your booking details.

See what to expect from your consultation.

5. Privacy and confidentiality

Our Privacy page explains how inquiries, bookings, tools, and private workspaces handle information. Microsoft processes booking details and appointment communications through its services.

Keep public inquiries, booking notes, and AI prompts general. Do not include passwords, credentials, sensitive personal information, or confidential client or business documents. Agree on a suitable secure channel and any necessary confidentiality terms before sharing sensitive material.

Submitting an inquiry or making a booking does not create a confidentiality agreement. Nothing on this page changes an existing confidentiality obligation. Provide only information you are authorized to share; you retain your rights in that information. You allow us to process and share it only as needed for the service you request and as described in our Privacy notice or an applicable agreement. This does not grant us permission to publish confidential information or identify you as a client.

6. Permitted use

Use the website and booking service lawfully and for their intended purposes. Do not submit false bookings, impersonate another person, upload malicious material, interfere with the service, evade access controls or usage limits, or attempt to access another participant’s private information.

Private workspace access is limited to approved participants. Do not share credentials or redistribute restricted material without authorization. We may restrict access or cancel abusive or fraudulent bookings to protect the service and its users.

7. Materials and ownership

Website text, design, branding, and original materials belong to the firm or their respective owners. You may view and share links to public pages and use downloadable resources for your own business planning or internal evaluation, keeping attribution and qualifications intact.

Except where applicable law or a separate license permits it, do not resell our materials, republish them as your own, use our logos without permission, or imply our endorsement. Any separate license accompanying a resource controls its use. Rights in commissioned work are addressed in the applicable engagement agreement.

8. External services

Links may open Microsoft Bookings, Microsoft Teams, or other third-party services. Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their availability or the content of external websites.

9. Availability and limitations

We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but content may become outdated and services may be interrupted. To the extent permitted by law, public website materials and tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow you to waive, or relieves us of duties imposed by privacy or data-protection law. Obligations for paid services are governed by the relevant engagement agreement.

10. Updates

We may revise these terms as the website or booking service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Updates apply prospectively and do not amend an existing written agreement or retroactively change the terms governing an earlier transaction. Where a change requires your agreement, we will obtain it separately. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

11. Questions

For questions about these terms, website use, or an appointment, contact McClintock Group, Inc. at info@tmgtech.com.
